Dandelions in the rain

Dandelions have always been among my favourite things to photograph; I find them delicate, visually appealing, intricate and elegant at the same time. It must be the shape, I guess. Anyway, all I know is that even myself, the newbie photographer can produce decent pictures without too much effort – get a dandelion in the photo and it’s almost guaranteed it will be a keeper. They just fill te frame nicely I find. Plus they go well with almost any background. Photograph them against the sunset, in bright light, in a vase, get someone to blow them, they will make for a nice photo no matter what.
This being said, there is one instance which is above the other – dandelions in the rain. I particularly enjoy photographing them and here is why.
